Does Zara Go on Sale on Black Friday

Zara finally dropped its Black Friday sale on – you guessed it – Friday, so if you were lucky enough to snap up any of their gorgeous pieces, congrats.

The super stylish and affordable brand famously never offers discounts or codes, saving their generosity for Christmas and summer sales only.

While everyone loves a discount, the fact theirs are rare makes it all the more exciting when Zara's sale finally arrives.

The brand often has discounted pieces in its Special Prices section, but it offered up to 40% off on selected lines for Black Friday.

So will Zara take part in Cyber Monday and what are the pieces that are bound to sell out first?

Does Zara take part in Black Friday?

While Zara rarely offers discounts, it takes part in Black Friday every year.

When will the Zara Black Friday sale start?

Black Friday takes place on the last Friday of November, which falls on 26 November this year.

Zara's sale, which went live on Friday for the day, offered 40% off selected lines.

However the sale has now ended. If you're looking to snap up a bargain, your next opportunity is Boxing Day.

How big are the discounts?

Zara offered discounts of up to 40% off across selected items across womenswear, menswear and childrenswear. The same is set to happen for the Boxing Day sale, but across absolutely everything 😍

Will Zara offer discounts for Cyber Monday 2021?

The brand didn't advertise a Cyber Monday sale in 2020, but they did continue to offer discounts on the day. However this was short-lived and ended the following day.

It's anticipated this will be the same again this year, but we haven't yet had confirmation.

Zara holds a longer sale from Boxing Day too, so it's best to buy Christmas gifts during Black Friday and something for yourself after Christmas – but hey, we're not judging!

Our top tips for shopping Zara's Cyber Monday sale

One of my top tips for making the most of the sale is to bookmark the pieces you're lusting after, make a short list and set yourself a budget so you don't overspend.

The sales are expected to be very popular however, so if there's something you're after, I recommend buying it quickly. While the brand will hold a Boxing Day sale, there's no guarantee the item you love will still be in stock.

As consumers are becoming savvier to the impact of overconsumption on our environment and the individuals working to produce garments, many brands have decided to boycott Black Friday this year.

We're expecting this to include brands Monki, Next and Arket, all of which opted out of Black Friday in 2020.

While we don't condone overspending, we do want fashion to be accessible to those on a low budget, as well as those who struggle to shop sustainably due to size constraints.

We love fashion and the freedom of self-expression it brings and understand you're going to want to shop the sales. We encourage you to be mindful of your spending and avoid buying items you're probably going to discard of in a year's time.

Shop smarter, not harder this Black Friday. Ensure you're not overspending by setting yourself a budget beforehand and creating a wish list of items you actually need rather than want – including Christmas gifts for others – if you are going to spend.
