"A short break"

Something that drives me nuts is Dan A. saying "Nosotros're going to accept a brusk interruption, and we'll be right dorsum.". Five minutes and eight commercials later they render...for x minutes. Give thanks goodness for the Video recorder that let's me fast frontward through the stinky commercials!

Amazing, more nearly officers than suspects.

I take to acknowledge I did non have a very good opinion about police officers until I saw this show. It'due south amazing how officers try to protect people and expect out for their welfare. I totally respect and honor all policeman afterwards viewing the bear witness.

Like Cops but better

Like Cops but Dan Abrams, Tom Morris Jr and Sean Larkin offer fair and entertaining insights and comments. As cameras from around the U.South follow police on their often unpredictable and wild evenings.

Shows how much money we spend on cops fighting a stupid drug state of war

This is an interesting bear witness. Every episode is 3 hours and its live. It cameras post-obit dissimilar police departments from all over the U.s.a.. However the show should exist called "I odor Marijuana" because every 2 minutes that is what is said on this evidence.

Nigh of the time the cops seem to arrest black people people because they have a small amount of drugs on them. Nearly of the time the corporeality they take is very niggling! Its obvious for personal use just if its over a certain amount they go disrepair for "Intention Sell" (Which is bulls**t). And then while the cops are searching the suspects car they always call for support and there ends upwardly being on boilerplate 6 policemen on a low level drug possession. This explains why there is never a cop around when you need one.

To me all drugs should exist legal and just stop with this drug state of war. Regulate it similar booze. If you desire to come across how we tin can save money in this country and then picket this show.

I also desire to bespeak out that Dan Abrams is an excellent legal consultant & talking head. He is not a comedian and then he needs to stop with his jokes. At that place not funny. There non an offensive type of joke there just not funny. The last I checked he was hired equally a host and legal consultant. He wasn't hired to tell jokes.

Searchs

I love the show only one modest thing that drives me crazy that officers exercise on the testify, the same equally in reality but it seems the panel is unaware of accurately understanding a simple court ruling. TERRY v. OHIO. I see the officers, as nearly officers practise, performing the "Terry Search" of nearly anybody they run across and hear the console commenting that police can "frisk" everyone they encounter, a "pat down" to ensure they are not armed. This only is not true. "A "Terry Stop" is a stop of a person by law enforcement officers based upon "reasonable suspicion" that a person may take been engaged in criminal action". This must be based ""specific and articulable facts" and not merely upon an officeholder's hunch". They use the "consensual contact" reasoning which is true in some simply non all of the situations on the show. In a "consensual contact" situation, the person must be able to, without interference from law enforcement, be gratis to exit by saying they are not interested in talking or saying nothing at all and walking away. To do a "Terry terminate" "frisk" the police must have "reasonable suspicion the person is armed and dangerous", a fear for the safety of himself and others, the officer may behave a carefully express search of the outer clothing in an attempt to detect weapons that might exist used to assault him or her. This does non include going through pockets or asking the person to empty their pockets (which is the same every bit if the officer did information technology himself). They act equally if they weep out TERRY STOP that they are free to practise as they delight. Not true.

Better than cops.

This is definitely the best constabulary reality show ever just I don't like that they have recently started showing stuff that was filmed before. At first they would just say this "happened earlier". Now they admit that they are taping all week long. That'south not a large bargain but if it's not alive merely phone call the show "PD". This is the simply testify worth watching on the weekends. *As of 1/28/eighteen I accept decided this testify is unwatchable trash.1 star.

Fake

Tonight'due south show opened with a bicycle chair ramp on burn. The shirtless, shoeless, toothless hillbilly that lives there promptly goes nutzoid on the police and gets taken down. Then his prison cell phone rings and it'south playing Dueling Banjos. Comedy gold simply and then faux.

I'm tired of u ppl acting like "those aren't your pants"

Warning: Spoilers

My boys and I love this show!!!! I have MAYBE seen a couple of questionable things in the Unabridged HISTORY of this show. Information technology'southward live and so don't tell me it's freaking edited. These officers put their lives on the line day in and twenty-four hour period out and are E'er there when called. Now for those of y'all talking crap about "My 4th amendment" BS: the officers accept every correct to pull yous out, and pat yous down if there is an odor of marijuana. It'due south illegal everywhere based of federal laws. Information technology's DECRIMINALIZED in SOME states but non all. I am pissed that it was just decriminalized in my state of Oklahoma because I don't want my kids to have any easier admission to drugs than is already available. And for the person who said my LEO's are sketchy, when you lot become perfect, come talk about anyone else. These guys are awesome. I become tired of people maxim 'they can't do this but I can practice that'. Those of y'all with double standards brand me sick!!!!

This is an awesome evidence that shows what these men and women truly deal with on a 24-hour interval to day basis and all the ignorance they run across throughout the day. Also many LEO's have been killed fifty-fifty up to this day in 2019 we take had 20 already and February isn't even over yet. My undersheriff is in that listing of line of duty deaths. It's heartbreaking and most are pretty respectful but there is however way likewise many who don't.

Practise Information technology Right

Warning: Spoilers

I've read the other gripes, and in most cases, I agree. I don't feel quite equally vitriolic as ane of them, merely it does anger me when it seems that they can't stop anyone without searching them because they smelled something. And they are ALWAYS "smelling" something. One that really ticked me was the "Cocaine" in the guy's pickup truck (recently) the arresting cop called in a dog and handler, and the dog was clearly much more interested in relieving itself than in searching the vehicle. When it did search, information technology spent well-nigh two seconds sniffing the rider compartment, and DID NOT look interested, at all. Even so, the handler "establish" a secret compartment (non shown) with what she said was residue, and they impounded the human's truck.

They did accept a actually great chase in which the arresting cop was like a bulldog; having I.D.ed the commuter for warrants, they finally got him in a foot chase with a canis familiaris; and that was a real practiced end for a guy that was a helluva commuter, besides; the cop was just better. That's the observably correct finish that matters. Why didn't they search HIS truck?? Certain, they pull some bad guys down, only I run across what seems like unwarranted searching for things similar burned out taillights; these take away from the actually GOOD arrests. I recollect they need to tighten up on what constitutes a serious stop. Virtually of these are good, but just enough are questionable enough to exist called "rousts".

I think information technology's adept when they show positive, problem solving encounters. Of course there are going to be bad things, but I call back some look staged, and come shut to rights violations. Clean it up.

Time spent on piddling stuff

Today I watched a episode that showed just the trail cease of a woman who had refused to get out of the car and the K9 officeholder was sent in to make her become out. My complaint is that you merely showed the very short terminate of the terminate only had showed 2 or three sobriety stops and tests that drone on and on. We've seen plenty of those to last a lifetime. Just you cutting off the interesting stuff. Plenty with the drunks all prepare. Show the skillful stuff.

Fast action

Every call these officers become can prove to exist interesting or dangerous. The multiple cameras provide coverage for 5 to six cities across the U.S. If you like quick moving action scenes, this evidence is for you! Equally one scene ends it will leave you wondering what is going to be happening in the next. You lot will be mesmerized by all the activeness and humor backside the scenes.

Addicted. Love it.

Always since the beginning, I've loved live PD. It goes beyond the typical cop reality show and shows multiple constabulary interactions throughout the United states of america. Since information technology's live (more often than not), some episodes are better than others. An episode falling on Halloween makes for a great episode but a ho-hum nighttime leads to a lot of slow traffic stops and DUI tests. If you can understand this near the show and also that some cops may be less off-white than others, it's a actually fun show to watch on the weekend. I love coming home from work and watching a few solid hours of live PD.

As for anybody complaining that the evidence jumps all over the place, I think they are viewing the evidence every bit something similar to cops where there are 3 stories with a beginning and cease. Alive PD is a 3 hour show that is meant to show you highlights of what is going on around the country. Plus, a lot of the time cops have to enquire questions or cheque things on their computers and so why air all of that just to get to the conclusion. And from the many hours I've watched this show, they e'er seem to do a good chore of telling united states the result, even if they don't become dorsum to the scene they will verbally tell the viewer.

vii-19-xix episode...are y'all serious?!?

I have been a fan of the show...believing that officers take an extremely hard job. Today was the offset day, I was furious over this show. "Positive policing" aka profiling...pulling someone over for no reason and so you're hunch and and then deplorable, we were wrong. Lt Laure and impeding traffic/ driving tiresome and and then holding the guy for 20 minutes...so he could explain...aka he wAs the guy gave him attitude, which he gave attitude as well, and he was messing with. Having a badge ways you're held to a higher standard as are many ppl who work in customer service fields. The last ane all in the same dark.... slamming someone to the ground...when he absolutely was listening to officers. And lastly, there has been some burglaries in the area...so I'm going to cease you for no cause...and so search you. Surrounding him, with four cops and a camera, aren't you supposed to be suspected of a crime for a search? Can we non walk downwardly the street at nighttime? I was under the impression, possibly incorrectly that this was a great way to requite both perspectives. How dangerous their job is, but I believe you could walk close to turning folks against what was originally a skillful thought...Circumspection

I don't think information technology'south live, though that'southward the least of my worries.

I could be doing something with my time. Instead I'chiliad watching this pretty awful show learning little, except for how wasteful, inefficient and punitive the American justice organisation is and all of the resources that is poured into putting people away, and paying constabulary, judges, lawyers, jail guards plus all sorts of other various sorts of people that come in between all of these professions salaries. I don't recall that'southward the show's intention though.

Quite often the show I was only a pullover, turned into a grand-9 sniff considering the commuter, or worse, even a passenger is interim nervous. I'd be nervous exercise if 2 vi and a half foot alpine shaved headed White immature law officers pulled me over, shining maglights in my face.

I remember it's just inexpensive, Rock bottom telly That pays even more salaries, whatever sorts of camera operations, producers whatever. This crap is The New normal." Reality" tv set. At present nosotros can commercialize incarcerating people for increasingly Petty offenses.

Simply at that place's hope - maybe this tin can go on police force / citizen interaction more than responsible. Possibly less people shot.

And if nothing else for withal long the show is on the air each week or night or whatever, Americans can get a good expect at how some of their money is spent.

Edit; in the week of George Floyd, on A&Due east in Canada they put on some offset responders addition of the testify; directly propaganda to try and show us how adept of a job cops are doing as entire teams of them with paramedics and fire department in tow show up to respond to public intoxication and overdoses just to show us how practiced of a job the boys in blue do. I can't disregard that and on till these shows hold many of the officers on each and every force accountable I cannot endorse this straight propaganda.

Denver Leverett Loves The Photographic camera

I take watched this bear witness for months now. There is a few things I have noticed

ane) Denver Leverett is terrible person. He grandstands for the photographic camera. He is ever a jerk when talks to anyone. He might be a "Practiced Cop" on paper just in reality he is a nightmare of homo beingness! He is very condensing to every person. HE gives these long rambling speeches so he can get camera time. "Why Hasn't His Captain Called Him Out On This Beliefs".

2) Dan Abramas thinks he is a comedian and laughs at his own jokes. He reminds of a dad "Who Thinks He is cool"

iii) The two person panel yous tin tell practise non similar each other. The White Guy (Sean "Sticks" Larkin) Seems to hate to sitting next to Tom Morris.

four) Virtually of police officers in this evidence our hard working and decent. The only jerk seems to be Denver Leverett.

v) It seems to be Police always seem to pull over "African Americans" and ever claim to olfactory property marijuana!
